Members

Much of our mechanical team graduated at the end of last season, leaving us with a lack of engineers. Luckily, we recieved dozens of applications from students hoping to join the team. We held interviews and selected worthy replacments. We learned many things from 2010 and hope to dramatically improve our preformance. Student dedication was a problem last year, however, in 2011 we have many new enthusiastic faces who will work non-stop to bring us the Big Blue Banner.

Mentors

This team has always depended on the help of our magnificent mentors. Roger returned as our amazing team leader. We recieved a few visits from JPL workers. And our very own engineering teacher/JPL technician Hannah Goldberg returned to help us do the math and save the world!

Build Season

We had a very efficient build season this year. We only stayed until midnight on the final day. (That's a good thing) We even had some time to program the robot before we had to crate it. Reptar performed well at the Los Angeles Regional. We placed 12th out of 63 teams. Reptar was also the 5th best scorer. We made it to the quarterfinals in the sixth alliance. And due to a great minibot, we were able to win the Coopertition Award.
