2008 Game - Overdrive

The 2008 game, Overdrive, is reminiscent of Nascar. In it, robots race around a track as fast as they can, scoring points each time they cross the finish line. There is an added, un-Nascar-ish element, however. As they race around the track, robots can pick up huge 40-inch diameter "trackballs", which weight approximately ten pounds each, and hurdle these trackballs over a six and a half foot overpass to score even more points. Additionally, each trackball replaced on the overpass at the end of the match is worth twelve bonus points.
