Snapdragon

Ratchet is our robot for the 2014 game, Areial Assist. It has a high-powered yoga ball shooter to propell the ball into goals over 6 feet in the air. Snapdragon can also intake balls from the ground and catch balls thrown towards it.

Drive Train

Catapult

– CHOO drawback mechanis, using two Mini-CIMs to pull and release the shooter using a cam.

– Driven by 2 Banebot 550 Motors with Green Banebot wheels
– Modular and replaceable with a funnel attachement

– Limit switched on CHOO Mechanism to sense linkage placement

– Six on-board accumulators and one air compressor
